Chen YANG, received the bachelor’s, master’s,and doctor’s degrees in solid mechanics from Beihang University (BUAA), Beijing, China. He is an Associate Professor with the School of Automation, Beijing Institute of Technology. He has published around 50 research articles in the reputed journals particularly in the area of structural health monitoring and its applications including 41 SCI journal papers including 25 papers of the first author and 6 papers of corresponding author. His research covers compliance control, structural health monitoring, optimal sensor placement, structural dynamics, and thermal management.
Chen YANG also continuously became a reviewer in more than 46 SCI journals. He is an Associate Editor of IEEE Sensors Journal (IEEE)and Associate Editor in International Journal of Aeronautical and Space Sciences (Springer).
